m17 R3, overclocking, fan control without AWCC?
Looking for some insight into fan and voltage control. I have a 2020 Alienware m17 R3 with a 2080 Super and core i9 10980HK. I would like to use something other than the Alienware Command Center for fan and/or voltage control. I have XTU installed and tweaked my voltages to significantly bring down my temps while still maintaining stability. I can't control the fans outside AWCC though, and AWCC fights with XTU over voltage control. Is there a way to control the fan without AWCC and/or can I disable AWCC's overclocking/voltage control while maintaining its voltage control? Its fan control is pretty bad too, but it's better than _literally nothing_, but AWCC's voltage control crashes my computer while XTU's does not. I can uninstall the Alienware OC software which solves the AWCC voltage/overclocking control issue, but then it also disables fan control and it's stuck at a low fan speed.

Hi @CmdrShepardsPie !
I recommend you set a profile on command center on how you want the colors of the laptop to be and then uninstall it from the laptop. It should leave the colors like how you put them on the laptop so now you can control voltage and everything else via XTU. I highly recommend installing SpeedFan to control the fan speeds and monitor thermals so you can have more control too.
