m17 R3, touchpad not working or showing up?
I have recently bought a M17 R3 with the individual key lighting addon. I go to the command center to mess with the RGB but only the key board comes up and not the touchpad. I can edit idvidual keys for RGB but i can not turn on the RGB for the touchpad. Please help.

Go to the bios and check if the touchpad backlight settings are set to auto or always on.
Then I’d do a ePSA diagnostic but skip all the stress testing and do a touchpad test.

I’m looking at advanced settings but there is nothing talking about lighting

I am in the bios but all I have is main,advance,security,boot options and I went through all of them and can’t find anything that says touchpad lighting. I’m probably don’t doing something right could you explain on where I go and do in the bios to find touch pad backlight setting

Get your latest bios and download it. Then install the latest version of the command center and make sure you install the HID mouse device from Dell's site aswell.
