x17 R1, My Alienware app problem

Question

Hello all, I'm having a weird software issue with Alienware x17 R1 laptop. In the My Alienware app (white alien head icon) that came pre-installed in Windows system, it’s supposed to have the AWCC (Alienware Command Center) option to click on and open from there for Fusion and FX. There are usually 5 boxes to click on in the My Alienware app. Explore, Support, AWCC, etc. But today all of the sudden the AWCC square disappeared within the app. I tried reinstall My Alienware app from Microsoft store and reinstalling the entire AWCC package from Dell website, but neither brought the AWCC square back to My Alienware app. If anyone knows what I’m talking about (lol, I know it’s a weird problem), please let me know how I can fix it. Although it’s not a big problem, it’s been bugging me. So please help.

Well you can try the following fix: Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Apps & features in Settings. Select the More icon next to the app you want to fix. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app

Same here!  Tried everything mentioned as well.  I don't like messing with Bios to overclock but do like FX and Fusion so now have default setting even on my tower colors....sigh

Think I found a solution.  When I uninstalled then reinstalled AWCC, it didn't show up normally in the My Alienware app BUT, if i clicked on the windows button and looked at recently installed, there it was so i clicked on it and it worked.  It never did show back up in My Alienware but I pinned it to start up and now just click on it to use it.  Works just like before but it seems to be separate from My Alienware now.
