x17 R2, docking station

Just got one and its requiring a 330W power supply. However the most I can see a Thunderbolt dock pushing out is 130W. Can I use a dock and a power supply at the same time? I'm trying to use this to replace my old desktop.

@Fanatic1074 Yes, you can use a dock and a power supply at the same time. The dock will provide additional connectivity options for your laptop, while the power supply will provide the necessary power to run your computer and connected devices. However, the power output of a Thunderbolt dock is limited and may not be enough to power high-end components like a desktop graphics card. In that case, you may need to use an external power supply in addition to the dock. Before purchasing, make sure to check the specifications of your components to ensure that they are compatible with the dock and the power supply you plan to use.

Awesome, thank you!  With that in mind I wanna get one with dual display port supporting 1920x1280 @165hz.

I've seen a few that I think will work but looking for alternatives.

Thanks!

Yea three tries later... LOL  So the one that seems to be able to handle what i am asking of it is the Visiontek VT5400.  Im running two monitors at 1080p @165hz and so far no noticeable lag in gaming.  I do see some weird desktop issue but i dont think that is dock related yet.
