x17 R2, error code 2000-0712 while booting

This not a hardware failure. The issue should be corrected by BIOS 1.8.2 or newer. Target release date is October 25, 2022.

Workaround before BIOS 1.8.2 is posted =
* Shutdown
* Power on and press F12 while Alienware is on screen
* Select Diagnostics
* Press Esc key to stop the Quick Test
* Select Advanced Test
* Unselect all
* Only select Video FAN 2 and CPU FAN 2”
* Click Run Test

If Diagnostics shows “All tests passed successfully”, then CPU2 and GPU2 fans are OK and do not have an issue.
