x17 R2, volume light not lighting up all the time?

Question

Good evening, I received my Alienware R2 17' a month ago. The other day I noticed that the volume light that normally turns white has stopped lighting up when pressed? It still functions and mutes as well as sometimes lighting up and working. The mic button works without a problems. Any ideas what might be causing it and how to resolve? TYIA Andew
