Hi @New alienware owner 2022 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. 

What is the make and model of the old TV and/or external monitor? Is there an online TV user manual that Dell Community users can consult? 

If Alienware x17 R2 purchased with Dell warranty (check invoice), please visit your online Dell account and create Service Request so that Dell Support 'officially' knows that there is a problem to fix. When requested, allow Dell Technical support to have online session and use their diagnostic tools to fix software and/or detect hardware issues.

Hello,

my TV's are samsung. one is 2019 and the other is 2016. all my other devices connect to it without any issues. when i try mirror the screen it doesn't give me any error code or to as why the connection failed.

Hi @New alienware owner 2022 what did Dell Technical Support's online session determine as the root cause of this problem? Is the root cause the same for both of the old Samsung TVs? 

The Alienware x17 R2 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) module is Intel Killer AX1675s. Please click on Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to identify your products and get driver and software updates for most of your Intel hardware. If Intel updates available, install, then Restart (not Shut Down) to save changes. 

If Alienware x17 R2 was purchased without Dell warranty, repeat attempt to connect wirelessly to external TV, then run Windows 11 Reliability Monitor and wait for Event timeline to load. Having just recreated this issue, the Event should be reported on that day/time and opening this Event should include root cause and Microsoft error code.
