Avamar pre snapshot script in RHEL7 VM not working

We are trying to use a pre-snapshot script to pause a service before taking a snapshot based backup with Avamar.   However, every time we try, even with a very simple script, the script fails to run and we get an error like this:

I have looked through the docs and cannot find any reference to a parameter that we might be setting wrong.  Can anyone assist?  Is there a template for a script that I can follow?  I would really like to take advantage of this option.
