Change VAR and SYSDIR Directory Location
Avamar Windows Cluster Configruation: How do I change the VAR and SYSDIR Directory Location? I need to move the directory to another Volume.
Current Config:
Cluster client's var directory = C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1\Avamar_Cluster_VAR
Cluster client's SYSDIR directory = C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1\Avamar_Cluster_VAR
Cluster client local port number = 28003

Open Windows failover cluster management and locate Avamar cluster backup agent service. Check the properties of the service you would like the parameters. You can change the VAR and SYSDIR location and restart the Avamar cluster backup agent service to take effect. Make sure the user that runs Avamar cluster backup agent service has enough privilege to access the VAR and SYSDIR location.

Please go to MCS GUI, navigate to group, select the client tab, navigate to the cluster client, click edit. Uncheck the activated box. Save the changes. Restart Avamar cluster backup agent service via Windows failover management.
