Cluster Configuration tool shows paused

Hello, I have been looking for a while now on what a particular error code means. We are trying to configure the cluster configuration tool and when I go to add a new node the node shows PAUSED. I have not been able to find any hint of what that means and neither does the EMC support person I have been dealing with. Has anyone seen that before? I need something to point me to what the problem is.

It is an Exchange 2010 SP2 RU6 system with Avamar 6.1. I have attached a snapshot of the error.
