LDAP authentication
Can Avamar be configured to authenticate to a Linux based LDAP directory? Is there any documentation? There is nothing in the Admin Guide for 6.1.

I had followed those steps and am not able to configure any LDAP maps within the management application.

so an avldap --test returns ok ? and what about a --verbose ?
when you try to create the maps what is happening is it grey or it doesn't find etc ?

avldap only works with the krb5.conf and ldap.properties files. I am trying to configure an LDAP which does not use kerberos.
I have setup the ldap.conf file and can authenticate users, but cannot set up group authentication through an LDAP map.
