Removal of Old Avamar Proxy Servers

We recently upgraded Avamar to version 7.0.1 from version 6.1.  After the upgrade I deployed some new version 7 proxy's and everything is working great.  I went to my VM Domain/Group Proxy settings and made sure the new proxies are being used and I removed the old version 6 proxies by retiring the clients.

My Question - Is there anything else I need to do before I delete the old version 6 proxy servers in vCenter?  I know I can simply delete them from vCenter but I'm not sure if they should be unregistered somehow from Avamar.

Thanks,

Ron

If the proxies have been retired or deleted through the Avamar GUI, you can safely delete them from your VM environment.

Can I reuse same IP after deleting vProxy, Any complexity like certificate issue?

you can reuse the IP's and honestly its easier that way as you already have DNS setup for them.
