vm backups fail after moving FLR proxy
Hi,
I just needed to move my FLR proxy (6.1 SP1 - unified) from one esxi to another in the same datacenter.
After the move, backup fails with "No proxy to backup VM." error. The VM i'm trying to backup is located in the same esxi that the proxy. Proxy is also configured to backup all datastores needed.
Is there any procedure for moving the proxy between hosts?

Maybe try re-registering the proxy with the Avamar node again? I haven't had the problem so can't say that will fix it but that would be the first thing I would try. When the proxy is rebooted there is a 10 or 20 second count down that allows access to the menu to re-register from the console.

Hit exit from the command prompt to get the registration page and register the proxy with Avamar server, once re-registered make sure that you are able to see all the datastores asssigned to the proxy from the Avamar administrator -> polixy -> pxocy client.
