FC630 NVMe compatibility

Hey together,

I am thinking of getting a the FX2s chassy and a few blades with it. Unfortunately the documentation is unclear on the fc630. It states support for that here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/de/de/debsdt1/poweredge-fx2/fc630ownersmanual/25-inch-hard-drive-or-ssd-system?guid=guid-262a038d-4f92-46db-8399-ab4c801a9a5f&lang=en-us

But their presentation says "PowerEdge Express Flash NVMe PCIe SSD".

The FC640 clearly states support for NVMe front panel storage, but I would like to go with FC630 for now due to cheaper available processors, but NVMe is a must and the available x8 PCIe slots in the back are required for other purposes.

So am I getting it right that the FC630 are actually supporting U.2, which when I search for the PowerEdge Express Flash NVMe PCIe SSD seem to be, or am I off track?

Thank you in advance!

so coming back to this. I was able to  validate the claim now that u.2 disks work on the fc630. It is wrong and they don't work at all. They do have correct connector with that little extra pin on top on the backplane, but neither the bios nor any os can detect them. tested with samsung pm983.
