CX 700 LUNs gives IO error on the host

Hi team,

in our setup, we have given 17 LUNs to make up a file system in a Unix host and now they are getting IO errors on it.

when i checked for the faults on the array, it is operation normally.

What we can do next. The array is not under support.

It is a Solaris 10. They were trying to mount the FS and at the time of running fsck, they got the IO error.

so they created a new file system that consists of 17 new LUNs and now when they are trying to mount it they are getting these error messages ...or this is an existing file system that started having issues after you presented new LUNs.

the error we are getting is :

bash-3.00# mount -F  vxfs /dev/vx/dsk/prd_backupb_data/prod_backupb_data_backupb /export/backupb
UX:vxfs mount: ERROR: V-3-21268: /dev/vx/dsk/prd_backupb_data/prod_backupb_data_backupb is corrupted. needs checking
bash-3.00# fsck -Fvxfs /dev/vx/rdsk/prd_backupb_data/prod_backupb_data_backupb
UX:vxfs fsck: WARNING: V-3-20836: file system had I/O error on meta-data.
log replay in progress
log replay failed to clean file system
file system is not clean, full fsck required
full file system check required, exiting ...
bash-3.00#

i don't see how adding new LUNs would have anything to do with the existing file systems.

This is an existing file system, but we have not given any new LUNs to it. For some reason they had to unmount the FS and remount it. But while trying to remount the FS they are getting this error.
