CX4 NQM
Hi
I have setup a policy to limit certain number of LUNs I have on a CX4-480.
LUN 55, 300 and 301 with each limit to 500 IOPS
For some reasons, Lun 55's IOPS has not been kept within the limit. IO spikes (far exceeding limit of 500) almost every 3-4min.
below is the policy setting I have
Can anyone please explain to me why this behaviour happens?
another thing I have picked up in SP A alert:-
"NQM was unable to continue to satisfy the goal in current running policy"

It's possible that other activity on the arary is limiting NQM's ability to satisfy the goals - for example, if you're overdriving the disks in the raid group that LUN 55 resides. You need to take a look at your array's overall performance without NQM running and see if you have any performance issues - overloaded disks, force flushing, etc.
