ISCSI 10G on CX4-240
HI
Anyone ever installed a 10g iscsi port on a cx4-240 ?
wondering if you encountered problem
for us a soon we connect the fiber we got SP crash running flare code 04.30.000.5.524
of course we have an SR open for this
just wonder if anyone experienced this before ? or similar ?

Did you use the USM to install the new IO module? Did you persist the new IO module? You may need to have cables connected to a switch to persist - can't recall off-hand about the cables though.

the module was installed by EMC staff so i presume they have use the USM software
anyhow the problem is not having the module in place
the SP crash as soon we connect the fiber between the Cisco switch and the CX4 ISCSI 10G card
perhaps some protocol negociation is buggy and make crash the SP (not very acceptable !)
i just wonder if someone encountered the problem ans have a work around
