Moving used luns into a consistency group on a clariion
Hi Guys
I have some clariions LUNS used as vmware datastores that have db's etc on them (logs on one datastore and db on another) these luns are replicated using mirrorview A
. the luns are not totally in sync so i wanted to add them to a consistency group so they would all sync up together etc but i'm not sure of the affect of just adding production luns to a new consistency group and what time lag will be chosen etc
Have any of you guys done this before and if so have you any recommendations etc that you could share

The consistency group itself has the same lag/update settings as the individual mirrors..
1.) Create the consistency group and set the parameters you need
2.) Check to be sure all of the mirrors you plan to group together are already consistent or synchronized status
3.) Add the mirrors to the group
Once the mirrors are in the group, the update settings in each mirror will be ignored and the group settings will be used.
