changed management ip address the wrong way

Hello -

We're running a Clariion CX300 and I needed to change the SPs' IP address. I most likely did it the wrong way and did not heed the warnings about potential issues with the domain.

And now I have absolutely no connectivity to the management interface of the Clariion. The LUN's are still accessible, just the management interface.

I tried to connect to the serial interface of the SAN and was able to connect, but the default ip address (192.168.1.1?) would not respond. Any ideas?

I can shutdown all connected hosts, so if an actual physical reboot is necessary, that's not a problem. Currently the Clariion is in a lab environment, so any type of reconfiguration would be fine - I would just like to fix what I did.

Thanks...

Can you hit the following?

http://old_ip_of_cx/setup?
or
http://new_ip_of_cx/setup?

If not then you will need to get the console access working in order to fix this issue. Do you still have the supplied console cable that ships with the CX?

There's a Support Solution that might be helpful emc60751 ¿How do I change a storage processor (SP) IP address after it was already set?

Thanks for the suggestions -

it seems I was a bit impatient with the SP's coming back up. All is working on the new IP addresses now.

Apologies if I have wasted any of your time.
