server is showing dead paths for tresspassed luns in cx700

how is your host zoned to this array ? What failover mode are you using ?

fail over mode is 1.

i just checked the powermt output again and it shows only one path to spb2 is dead for all the devices but in connectivity status it shows all the paths are logged in.

Dynamox, have one more doubt here.

if one path is dead out of 4 paths, will powermt output show a different logical id for the dead path. Cos, for spb2 the path was showing dead and it was showing a different logical id.

is port B2 online, is it logged-in to the switch ? Do you have other hosts connected to B2 and working ok ?

we have rechecked the zonings and zoned spb2 again with the host. now its all showing up.

But still I have a doubt that when the spb2 was not zoned correctly in powermet display it was showing dead path to that port with a different logical id (Clariion Logical ID) for all the LUNs.

I wonder how it will show two different logical ids for one LUN.

powermt display shows two different WWNs, so i am not sure how they can be the same LUN. Can you search for WWN 60060160197A11001E6DF5703127E111 ..what LUN does it belong to ?

are you talking about Clariion Logical device ID ? (LUNs WWN)
