Unable to delete clipID - operation is restricted

When I try to delete the a clip-ID using the DeleteContent java file in the SDK, I get the following error message:

Centera SDK Error: The use of this operation is restricted (transid='MACHINEID/4/EXISTS_CLIP')(-10204)

The pool capabilities they are as follows:
Read Operation Allowed: true
Write Operation Allowed: true
Delete Operation Allowed: true
Purge Operation Allowed: false
Privileged Delete Operation Allowed: false
Existence Checking Operation Allowed: true

Can someone please help me in figuring out the problem?
