Vintage XPS 600 case modified for ATX PSU and standard nonproprietary motherboard (done by a friend)

"dremeled a hole in the back of the case to put a PSU in. It came out fairly clean. Inside the case drilled some holes and put in standoffs to mount a mini ATX board. got parts from ebay and a parts supplier for the shield, front panel, and door. put in a DVD drive, a media bay (for front USB ports/audio), and a cool bay that you can hot-swap hard drives in and out of.

used a multimeter to figure out what pins on the wire harness for the power button board connect to the power button and LED, and connected them to the motherboard.

still need some RGB lights to go behind the shield to make it glow properly, but the computer works."
