Storage Center Client failure to connect

We recently did a windows 2012r2 rollup update during which our localhost connection on port 3033 to our storage center began to fail. It was also reported that Microsoft SQL Express had been removed as well. I think the combination of factors is why we cannot connect but what can we do to reestablish connection? So far, all we can connect to is the FS8600. Our network is a Dell Server acting as management hosting the client software, the SCv2080, and the FS8600.

Hello LincolnshirePoacher,

Have you tried to run through the setup of a host again in DSM?  If you haven’t then I would try that.  Here is a link to the administrator guide and if you look on page 99-101 it explains the steps that is needed to do the setup. http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/storage-sc2000_install-guide_en-us.pdf
