Cancelled order - why?

Can anyone explain why my order was unceremoniously cancelled, and why Dell didn't even have the courtesy to tell me? I spent a good deal of time researching my options and my credit card was charged within minutes of placing the order. I even received a call from a Dell fraud prevention rep and there were no issues. Five days later when I went to check on the status I saw that the order was cancelled.

Dell, what gives? I know I'm just one guy buying one laptop, but I think this could have been handled better. Doesn't make me want to buy another Dell product.

After I posted this message here I was promptly contacted and the issue was resolved best way possible. Bravo Dell!!!

I had almost same problem when buying monitor with discount from french site of dell ... they started writing  some weird emails referring to a wrong order number with asking to provide a fixed line number of the dekivery adress and company email or students card number which is very much like a spam or the kind ... afterwads they cancelled the order with suggestion to provide a bank wire payment instead of credit card...but discount is gone...come on Dell.. was it worth this EUR 90 of discount to cancel order?...shame!!!...luckily for me my payment transaction was cancelled and i didn`t go for buying MMF PC
