Did they take the money out of your bank account?

Did you use a debit card? Isn't there a number on the card you can call and dispute it? They usually reverse it right away and free up the amount. You don't have to wait for an unauthorized charge to be refunded.

Yes, I was deducted the purchase amount twice. This was not put on hold. It was charged twice. First on Dec 7 and then on Dec 31. Two charges with two different reference numbers.

I even have two confirmation emails from the Bank stating that the amount was CHARGED on both times

I do think the double charge issue will be resolved, but not within the time I expected and this will mess with all the plans my family had. I truly hope Dell cares and offers some sort of compensation for this. I am really disappointed and stressed out about this situation. Thank god this is not medicine money or hospital money... They have to be much more conscious about the impact this has.
