Dell Outlet using FRAUD TATICS - BAIT n SWITCH

So once again, dealing with Dell has become painful and a very unpleasant experience. I believe now they are using fraudulent tactics to lure customers into their sales arena, only to deny customers of promised deals. I would say it's illegal, but I can't really do anything about it. Shame on Dell for allowing this.

I received an e-mail alert showing dell is offering "Save 40% on any XPS desktop or All-In-One and any Alienware gaming desktop or gaming console" . See link here:

While going through checkout, Dell's website would NOT allow me to enter the coupon code provided on their own website. Its a BAIT n SWITCH tactic. Thinking I could resolve the issue when I called, I went ahead and purchased the system. I called the very next day, the coupon STILL listed on the website, and Customer Care failed to do ANYTHING for me. They said to RETURN the unit and I could look for another system. Undeniably wrong. Unbelievably sad. And Dell doesn't care... I will PLEAD with everyone, PLEASE make a purchase elsewhere.
