Dell Wireless Keyboard & Mouse KM714
Hi All,
I have a Dell Wireless Keyboard & Mouse KM714 and the mouse has stopped working. I have tried new batteries etc but no luck. The keyboard is fine. Please could somebody tell me if I buy a new KM714 wireless mouse, will it work with my existing USB receiver? If not, then what are my options? Do I have to buy a new pair of keyboard and mouse with a USB receiver specific to those?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Thank you for your message. I will be glad to review this & assist you further.
If the keyboard combo is purchased from Dell, please private message the order number. If purchased from a retailer, please private message the purchase invoice copy.

Hi, I have a similar problem. The keyboard is fine but the mouse is giving me trouble.
The mouse stopped working instantly and changing the batteries did not help. The power button on the mouse is flashing slowly and the mouse does not move the cursor but some strange things are going on on the screen i.e. Cortana menu comes up and the desktop goes to the "recently viewed" files/folders.
Windows 10H, 20H2. Not updated recently as far as I'm aware.
Tried to update software, including that available on the web etc.
No luck.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Michal
