Dell has the worst customer service!
Most computer/software companies work hard to make a good impression on computer science majors in college. Dell dropped the ball with my son. I bought my computer science major son a top of the line dell XPS 15 computer and added a 3 year premium support for another $400. Last semester while the computer was under warranty the laptop would experience a freeze of the mouse/touchpad when tilted 10 degrees on one side. My son was busy with his studies and did not tell me about this issue but graduated last Saturday Summa *** Laude as part of the honors program. he bought his dell laptop home and told me about the issue. I called dell tech support who said the laptop was a few months out of warranty and we were on our own. I called several times and transferred several times and finally reached the escalation department. Bottom line was dell cares more about their profit than making a good impression on a new computer systems analyst hired before graduation by a 14B US company. If it were me I would have made an exception and left a new computer scientist with a good impression of dell instead of burning all bridges and leaving a nasty taste when either my son or I (a 27 year computer scientist) thinks of dell. The issue is a hardware issue and likely due to poor manufacturing. Be warned and avoid dell and especially dell customer service who could care less about the customer.

Hello! Dell generally stands firm with their warranties like most computer companies, especially after 3 years. You can speak with Dell-Robert P. here and see if there is anything he can do to help.

i agree,2 months into an alienware build,no computer and lied to regularly.i will never buy another dell product or advise anyone to buy dell.this is the worst buying experience of my life.

I called tech support on May 6th 2016. as of today May 18th I have talked with at least 3 Dell techs, they all state they have to direct me elsewhere. Due to my laptop being older than 30 days ( I purchased in March 2016) they can not give me a refund BUT will keep sending me to other departments.
Dell calls my house during the day when I'm not there, they tried to talk to my husband and resolve the issue but he will no longer talk to them.

VERY BAD LAPTOP!!! It constantly beeps for no reason, VERY slow and the Office 2016 is so slow I no longer use it. This is my 5th Dell AND MY LAST! I saved up my money for this now I loose it all.
I WANT A REFUND!!!!! My plan is to post a review like this on all social media I can, no, it will not get me a refund but will make me feel better.
DO NOT PURCHASE A DELL LAPTOP OR COMPUTER!!!!!!
