I have a Dell Inspiron with windows 8.1.
15" with intel, it is a 2012.
How good does my computer stack up against the rest?

That's like saying I drive a 2012 XYZ, how, does it stack up against the other cars.
Well, off the bat you know there are going to be better and worse cars.
It's kind of impossible to answer, to know how a system stacks up against others you have to know what's in it and other specs. There are several different models of Inspiron to begin with.
