International Warranty Issue
HI
I brought a laptop "Dell Inspiron 14 5406 From " Dell.com" At Canada. But , I'm now using the laptop in India Since, I Bought The Laptop In Canada, Can I Claim Warranty On Any Issues With The Laptop In India?
I have already raised the request for Ownership Transfer.
"our transfer request has been submitted for these Dell products: Inspiron 5406 2-in-1(11BM763). Please allow 7-10 business days for domestic transfers and 15 business days for international transfers.
Email notification(If Opted during submission) will be sent to the email addresses provided in the form once the request has been reviewed. 31128660-edef-4cb3-9615-3f338295f85c
If you have any questions regarding the ownership or warranty transfer of this product, please contact customer support."
FYI, During purchased, it was claimed that I will get the international warranty. Today I am facing the issue with Laptop start & it seems laptop is not getting any power and battery has been drained out.
I hope I will get the free service in india at earliest
Thanks
Maneesh

Ownership transfer is simple registration.
Warranty transfer is another matter. You will need an ownership transfer, plus:
1. The system model you own must be sold in India, and
2. The system must have an extra-cost onsite service plan (which is an extra cost purchase).
If either 1 or 2 isn't met, the system will not be covered under warranty in India. It will need to be returned to the country of purchase for service.
