Never received ePromo Gift Card after 2 months

Hi,

I purchased a dell laptop back in end of June 2019 and was promised a $200 gift card. I was told:

"Your cash back reward will be issued via digital promotional Visa® card typically within 10 business days but before 28 days from claim validation".

And in email it says "Your claim was validated on 4th July 2019" 

However it is now Aug 18th.

It has been well over the 28 days and I have submitted few requests and each time the email comes back saying it has been processed and I should receive the gift card shortly. How long is shortly? This seems like a scam as it keeps being delayed and each time I'm asked to wait another week. I see there are others who have the same problem as me in the forum. If I knew this was going to happen I would not have bought a dell laptop and will request for a refund. There is a period of 90 days to use the gift card so is this just going to be delayed until then and the gift card then expires?

I have emailed on Jul 15, Jul 30, Aug 6, and Aug 16 in request for the status of the gift card and I have these emails saved if needed.

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the order/ customer number, registered name & email address.

This has been marked as solved but \I see no solution here. I am going through the same thing. In my opinion the Dell Visa card is a scam

Similar story.  Purchased laptop in June.  Claim Validated June 26th.  Have sent approximately 40 emails and chats.  Posted messages on this board and contacted through Facebook.  Am at 3rd level of customer service supervisor with Dell and 2nd level with Visa Cashback (they are an independent company).  Still no card.

Don't hold your breath...….

I am in the same situation.  Got email from Dell indicating that the gift card was processed but never received the $200 gift card.  In my situation, the claim number is 63517.
