The form won't work, it requires a service request number, which I don't have.  Only an email acknowledging they got the request.

"Your Service Request is being processed

We have received your service request and are processing your return. You will receive your return waybill information via email once the request has been completed.

Note: You may contacted by Dell regarding this request prior to receiving your return waybill information.

You will receive an additional email containing your return waybills and instructions for return shipment back to dell. "

Let's try this, fill out this form and request a return label be sent to you through them.

I'll try to get you some other help.

This should be ok as I sent this thread to two of my contacts at Dell.  She or he,  should post on the forum and request some info from you.

Thanks for trying to help Z.  I fear this is going to go down the same black hole as all of my other requests.  I've pretty much lost all faith in Dell.

It's a miracle.  I decided to try calling customer service one more time, prepared to stay on the line all day if need be.  I was connected to an actual human in less than 5 minutes, and I now have my authorization and return label.  The stars must've been aligned just right.

I'm not sure I will continue to do business with Dell after this experience.

A miracle, far from it.   Just little old me working behind the scenes.

Glad this was resolved... please hit the yes button and confirm this issue has been taken care of.

I have the need to put off this purchase for a time, and I'm waiting on an email with my Return Label attached. I have a return order acknowledgement,  and a Service Request Number. How long should I have to wait?

Thanks
