SPMD -Spare Parts Master Database

Hi Team,

My question is: as DASP for Dell, how do we get access to SPMD - Spare Parts Master Database?

Could you suggest any contacts that we can turn on for SPMD support ?

The response I got from the L3 was, "SPMD is not available outside the Dell network.".

Are you logging into our Dell domain? Example, I log into the Dell Americas domain using my Dell email address. Then I have access to SPMD.

Hi Chris,

we use our own domain at local service (EMEA region).

We only have access to Tech direct (CIS ordering-no tool there), Partner portal and Service partner portal (dispatch closure for NBD/CIS-no tool there eather).

Do you know is SPMD available for all partners/DASP, or is it only for internal use?

Because currently we have to search for Dell part number with google, which is not great choice for DASP (and checking PN for each case with Dell pro support on phone takes to much time and effort for both sides).
