Verify purchase with work or school email
So i searched this up online and have not found a solution. I received an email from @Anonymous telling me to approve my purchase using a work or university email, but the email doesnt tell me how. I am reluctant to provide my work email, as this is a personal purchase. i also do not have a university email or a landline.
I have seen this topic discussed many times when i looked it up, and everyone seems to think this is a scam, but then their orders get cancelled.
Here is a copy of the email
Dear Customer,
Your order has been verified, but unfortunately, we are missing your approval from a work or university email. Upon receipt of your confirmation of your order it will be validated and will go into production.
If you do not have a professional or university e-mail, please send us the landline to your delivery address.
We apologize for the inconvenience we cause you, but rest assured that we will pay special attention to your response.

So today was the estimated shipping date for my order, but it says the order is still not in production. I have also been refunded on my credit card, but did not receive any email or message mentioning a refund. I have called customer service and they assured me that the order was in production. I have also received multiple emails to confirm my order. Can anyone explain what is going on with my order?

They asking me the same thing but I’m not in unisersity and I don’t own a company either and my account is a consumer account , not a business one.
what is wrong with you dell ?
