Walsh Western Delivery Service

Hi guys ,

thought id contribute with my experience so far with wwi uk as ive seen a lot of bad reviews on here that i myself read and worried about with my alienware purchase . I bought my item on the 12th december  and was told it would be delivered on the 30th december . Bear in mind im an extremely impatient person while you read this XD . i tracked my order through the email i got from dell and noticed on the 20th it had been sent from china . I rang up dell customer service and they told me it takes 7-10 days (not business days and including christmas holiday) for it to arrive in uk . 

Every day i checked the walsh western tracking page for delivery updates and for a week all i had was that it had been dispatched from china and had "departed man.facility". So i rang dell again worrying . I was then told that it should still arrive on my delivery date and it may have not been updated yet . So i waited impatiently refreshing walsh westerns tracking page and looking up other leoples problems with said courier on the forums . My worrys jusg got worse over the weekend as there are so many hate pages about walsh western and dell delivery.

on the 30th  (my due delivery date) ii hadnt seen any changes still. I thought to myself " everyone was right on the forums . My delivery isnt coming " . So once again , i rang dell, only to be told my delivery will arrive on the 6th of january! Bear in mind we had hopes for just after christmas time as it is a present . I was pretty peaved . Once i got off the phone i checked more forums about hatred for dell delivery, almost to comfort myself (rediculous!) 

i checked my tracking service in the afternoon and it had updated that the delivery had been shipped from the wwi lutterworth hub. YES!! I was thrilled . I rang dell one last time to ask about uk mails mysterious delivery phonecall that everyone apparently seems to miss. they gave me the exact information i needed and asked me if i had an ETA . i checked in it was set for the 31st december . Only 1 day ahead of schedule . 

I have recieved a text message this morning claiming that my dell consignment is estimated for delivery tuesday (today) between 9:30 and 13:30 . If this is true and everything goes to plan i can finally tell people looking at all these negative posts that sometimes dell is not so bad with delivery and there are some lucky ones . Heres hoping . I cannot wait to use this laptop i am having to write this post on my phone  XD
