Weird email
Hello!
A day after I ordered a laptop from Dell, I received an email from dell.com. He claimed to be from Dell and was asking for a phone bill/Hydro-Quebec bill and a piece of id. The email was not personalized (didn't contain my name anywhere but the title), although it did have my order number. He also asked to send what he wanted to another email which seemed a bit off, at least to me. I tried calling Dell and I couldn't reach them, the wait was too long. What should I do in this situation?

Thanks for posting. Apologies for the issues with the email you received.
Sometimes a verification team becomes involved if there is an issue with the form of payment you used to make your purchase. Normally they will contact by phone, so it's wise of you to be cautious in this matter. Contact DELL-Cares via a private message.
