Why does Dell sell new computers and then not support them

Recently bought XPS 8910 and was told that we no longer support that product.  I just received it two days ago, bought on the Dell website, and was told by the website when i was looking for support that the computer was out of warranty.  Called out of warranty dept.  I was told that it is in warranty and that they could not help me.  Got transferred. On hold for 5 mins.  Gave new person my service tag #.  Was told I cannot help you we do not support.  Transferred again.  On hold for 10 min.  Then hung up on.

Dell sure has fallen.

My company has 15 currently, with one more on the way.

Not sure about 17 on.

It seems Dell lost it's way
