mpl asset returns null value ...

Hello,
 
Trying to register my dell XPS on Dell.com I receive this error message:
"MPL Asset returns NULL value and unable to insert service tag."
 
Can you help me to solve this issue?

Was the system purchased from Dell (in the same country as you're registering) or from a third party - and if a third party, was it EBay, Amazon storefront, etc.?

If the former, call Dell support.  If the latter, contact the seller for assistance.

What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
