OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.2.0.5056 isn't in the MIB of DD OS 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5.

Hello Everyone,

The customer has used an OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.2.0.5056 (maybe) at DD OS 5.1. And he noticed there isn't the OID in DD OS 5.2 & 5.4 MIB files even though it's in the MIB Reference Guide of DD OS 5.2 & 5.4. The OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.2.0.5056 is for "Link loss detected." and the action is "Check network connectivity". He worries if he can handle the OID after he upgrades the DD OS to 5.2.

Q1.

Do you have any ideas why it's isn't in the MIB files even though it's in the MIB Reference Guides?

Q2.

Are there any alternative OIDs to handle the situation which OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.2.0.5056 has alerted at DD OS 5.2? Should continue using the MIB of DD OS 5.1? How?

Q3.

Can he use another MIB or complile some MIB files?

Q4.

Otherwise can he send a trap checking the OID using the MIB of DD OS 5.2 even though there isn't OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.2.0.5056 there?

Best regards,

Hiroki
