OME - Duplicate entries (powerconnect )
HI,
Our 3 PowerConnect stacks are Discovered and inventoried as new items every day in OpenManage Essentials. 2.1.0.2635. So we have many duplicate entries
We tried to Discover and Inventory them in a group or as individual items. Same result.
All duplicates are sharing the same Ip, Mac, Service Tag and, Serial Number. How is it possible ?
Note that other devices : 13 Servers, 3 Equallogic groups (4 members) are displayed correctly.

This is a known issue that OME 2.1 creates a new entry each time it inventories the switches. You can call Dell support and request a hotfix for this issue.

Hi, thanks for the query.
This is a known issue with OME 2.1. Please contact Dell Support, they should be able to help you with a patch for this and few other known issues.
