8400 need info
Hi I would like to know does anyone have there 8400 running with a bus speed 1066fsb and what is the processor you used or would recommend. Also are any compatible PSU's out other than PCpower & Computing. Also has anyone tried to water cool there 8400 yet if not what fans or Processor coolers are you using to cool this not to vented case.
Specs for my 8400:
Processor: Stock 3.0 800 fsb
Memory: 2.5gigs PC4200
VGA: 7900GT KO better than the stock 6880GTO
PSU: Stock 350watt PSU
Optical drive: Nec 3520aw DV-RW
HD's: Seagate 160gb, and Maxtor 80gb
Audio: SoundBlaster Live 7.1

I'm not looking to overclock cause I know Dell Bios as well as Sony, HP, & Gateway are all Locked. What I was asking is there any one out there who has purchased a Processor with an FSB of 1066 and which Processor is it, because according to dell specs. the 8400 should be able to run at that speed which should help with some gamming bottle necking and has any one tried any third party PSU's other than PCpower & Cooling they sell Dell adapters which they say can be used with any PSU that's what I was asking it has nothing to do with overclocking, about the only thing you can overclock on a Dell is your third party VGA card. Dogsbottom seems to have messed up my post everyone seems to be responding to overclocking and not my post
