A quick error message - AHCI BIOS not installed!
My Dell Inspiron 530 desktop is booting normally except a message that quickly flashes on the screen - I had to take a video of it to read it.
At the end, it says "AHCI BIOS not installed!" Is this something that Can be taken care of and NEEDS to be taken care of, or is this normal?

Hi pmwellman,
This message does not indicate a problem. I think it happens if you installed a device, such as a USB printer, that the BIOS polls to see if it's bootable. Changing the boot device order in the BIOS (F2) to (1) DVD drive, (2) hard drive, and (3) removable or other device should fix the problem.

Thank you for your help. I tried changing the order. The message didn't go away, but your explanation worries me less about its appearance.
