AHCI BIOS not installed
I have a Dell Workstation: Precision 490. I installed Vista on it and was attempting to image the computer since I work for a company dealing with various operations. After a few attempts, my boss and I booted up the workstation and we got this:

Could someone please help.

What version of BIOS is installed? The most recent is A08, May-08.
Did you install all the hardware drivers, including the System Utilities, chipset, etc, etc after installing Vista?
System Utility: This utility should be used to reinstall Dell factory power management settings if you had to reinstall Windows Vista or your Dell computer shipped before November 2007
Drivers for this system are here. Be sure to select Vista (32- or 64-bit) from the list on this page or you'll only see XP drivers.

Did you do what jmsandrsn suggested to change the BIOS settings? That is, press F2 and run BIOS setup. Change the SATA setting

to RAID Autodetect/ATA.
Assuming that allows you to boot, install the Vista drivers and System Utility.
