AMD ATHLON

Question

Hey

I always used a intel celeron.Now i want to try something new. I was just wondering if i purchase a amd Athlon 3000+ what r the advantages with the amd Athlon and disadvantages? Also i was wondering what is the CPU speed in a 3000+ because i don't really know a lot about Athlons? If you help me out a little that would be great THNKS ;)

Ok so i guess amd is not a bad company after all people just say that it is. and oh yeah 1 more question. How do i overclock my comp? i got a pretty good cooling system so i don't have 2 worry bout that. So how do u overclock ur comp and what can happen if u have a bad cooling system?

If you are refering to a Dell system, they cannot be overclocked, try the following site for overclocking Info,

Or, you could built your system, same as me, using a ABit NF7 MoBo with AMD3000 Barton processor.
