Adaptor cannot start
I recently had a slight problem with my internet explorer, with the connection running slow, and the explorer window registering the mouse cursors movement over buttons just as slow. While everything else was fine.
However, after running the diagnostic tool for windows vista, it came up with a 'device cannot start' error message.
The description of the device is a 'Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter' though under the device manager it has the title 'Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-interface.'
Under the device manager it notes that the 'device cannot start (code 10)', while the diagnostic tool had the cause down as a 'configuration problem that stops it from working properly.'
The diagnostic tool suggested I checked for up to date drivers - which I did - and everything was fine. But it's next suggestion was that I uninstall, and then reinstall it using the device manager...
Can anyone tell me what this device actually is, and if this problem would be affecting internet explorer in anyway? And whether I should actually uninstall the device through the device manager or not?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
