Adding additional RAM to D510

I am recieving my new computer Monday, a D510. It is coming with 1GB of Dual Channel ram (DDR2), and I would like to add additional memory. Does it have more than two memory "ports" to place more RAM? And does it have to be in pairs? I have two sticks new of 512MB DDR2 Ram and would like to know if I can add that into the computer?

There are four memory sockets, which should be evenly populated for best performance.

hello! i only see two slots for ram, where are the other two? also, i have 2x1gb but it seems to mess up my display driver, why is that? anything less than that is good though

Aponizuma:  I suspect you may have inadvertently gotten into the wrong board.  I believe the original poster typed the name wrong and has an Dimension E510 desktop, not a Latitude D510 laptop.
