Since this problem started suddenly, were there any other programs added to your computer since the scanner last worked correctly? Any other new hardware added?
This comes on everytime my kids play Sims game. Gives message "Windows registry checker has encountered Problem" I have to go in Safe Mode to restart without error message.
I have not been able to find any reference to your error message for the Artec scanners. It appears that Artec does not make scanners anymore. With the small amount of information available, I would suggest that you start by disconnecting your scanner, completely removing all software for your scanner and reinstalling the scanner software. If you are unable to locate driver software for it for your Windows PC, check windrivers.com or driverguide.com.
