Ati Multimedia Center 9.01 Will not install....Help!
Hi Everyone,
I have already installed the new 4.8 Catalyst driver and control panel. Everything works great but when I try to install the Multimedia Center 9.01 if gives me two errors. First one says UCI is not installed on your system and some applications will not work properly. Second error says, Ati DVD Decoder was not detected on your system and DVD will not be installed. I have updated drivers many many times before but nothing like this has ever occured before. I just purchased this Dimension 8400 last week.....

Remove all of 9.01, then download 9.02 and try that.

Did you use the cleaners prior to reinstall? If not try that route first and reload again. See if errors repeat. Good resource for ATI issues is Rage3D.com forum as well.

Hello Everyone,
I fixed the problem by downloading and installing both the atiCDwiz4-0 and mmc-9-1-0-0-dao-mdac before trying to install the Ati multimedia center. Guess you need these first!
