BIOS check point Krst
When my 8200, running xphome sp2, is on its worst behavior, it doesn't even get past the BIOS on bootup. I get a black screen with a cryptic message to the effect that bootup has been stopped at
BIOS check point Krst. Does anybody see anything in this besides its obvious resemblance to a familiar curse word?

See if any of the results of an Advanced Forum Search can help you solve the problem:

Steve:
Thanks for setting up the search. I saw a couple of recent posts that look useful. As you might easily surmise, the PW that goes with my screen name is "dumber than." Just a realistic assessment of my status, which I hope will improve in time with a little help from the kindness of strangers.
