BIOS failure

(Dell Dimension E520) Computer fails during the power-on-self-test (POST). I get a black screen, while the BIOS beeps. Computer has four lights labeled "1," "2," "3," and "4" on the front panel. 1 keeps on blinking while 3, and 4 are lit. I checked the diagnostic codes and it points to a memory issue. According to dell support, when lights 3, 4 are lit "Memory modules are detected, but a memory failure has occurred". 1 is also lit and it means "No memory modules are detected" I replaced it with a new Ram stick but still get the same result. Does anyone know what could be causing this trouble?

Try the module in the other sockets to see if you have a bad socket.

You need to try each module you have, in each of the sockets. Only one stick at a time. You are trying to isolate a bad socket.

I reseated all the power connector and now when i restart the machince,  the diagnostic lights are not shown.  It has short continous beeps (15) and the light is a still amber.  According to Dell support : If the power light is steady amber, a device might be malfunctioning or incorrectly installed.
Remove and then reinstall the memory modules
I bought new memory
Remove and then reinstall any cards
Remove and then reinstall the graphics card, if applicable
This type of motherboard all the cards are integrated....?
Ensure that all power cables are securely connected to the system board
I checked and reseated all power connections.
Could it be motherboard failure?
